House Tour: Monsters

Today instead of an entire room, I want to be basic and just share a wall! It’s the wall in between the main hallway and the kitchen. Every time I look at it I smile!

We sorta have a theme throughout the house, a monster theme. But not scary monsters, we prefer cute monsters. I also like things that make you look twice. Like the framed silhouette. At first it might just be a little girl, but at second glance it’s actually a little girl whos scarf has turned into a monster. I’m searching the internets high and low right now for the artist who designed that, but I bought it so long ago I’m having no luck. anyone know who designed it?

Oh and if you look to the right you can see a little bit of the library from the previous house post!

Also, a bit off topic, have you noticed the changes to the blog? I’m currently tweaking things and figuring out what I like. So the blog may look different day to day, I’m not 100% sure what I want it to look like in the end. I guess I’ll get there, eventually!

  1. Re: the print – I can’t remember either! She did a version/copies of the same print for The Sampler and I think I have one of those maybe? It’s right on the edge of my brain. Was it Jamie Zollars!?

Also, I always saw it as a coming-to-life-hand-puppet!

    I love your house.

    • I bought mine from the Sampler too!! It’s in an 8×10 oval mat, so it probably looks bigger! I love It even more that I know people view it in different ways!!! Makes it soo much cooler. Ha. And thank you for the compliment!!

Btw, I don’t know if you can see it, but I framed the venn diagram card of yours and put it in the library!! I love it!!
