Awkward Animal Portraits Quilt Series: September’s Release

Awkward Animal Portrait Quilt Series: September Release {an Art School Dropout's life}

It’s the first of the month, which means it’s time for another series of Awkward Animal Portraits to be released in to the wild!

Just as a recap:

Samarra came up with a bunch of fantastically awkward pixelated animal illustrations and I took them and transformed them in to quilt patterns. There was a lot of back and forth about things like colors, placement, which animals to release when, etc etc. So you know your getting the best product we could think of.

This will be a monthly PDF pattern release with each set going live the 1st of the month in Samarra’s shop and my own. Each quilt will have its own personality and story, some even have bonus content (hint hint: short videos).
This month we have two more animals with very different personalities!

First up we have a very timid Alligator! He wasn’t really sure he wanted to be in the series, but we agreed to just take a picture of half of him to make him feel comfortable! Look at his smile! He loved it!!

Next up is a Frog who was all about getting his photo taken, but then froze and didn’t know what to do with himself! I think he looks fantastic and has the best posture I’ve ever seen.

Bonus: there is a set of acrylic rulers made just for this series, I hear they also come in neon colors.
Make sure to keep checking back each month for more patterns! We are already working on October’s and it’s all so cool looking!!
