This down time has caused me to internet window shop way more than usual. So after three months of adding things to pinterest and numerous wish list and decided to do another one of these posts. So, If I Had Unlimited Funds i’d totally buy…

4 - Marva RX Glasses by Warby Parker (I’ve been on the rx glasses kick. I needed a new pair and have tried on sooooo many in the past few months. I finally found a pair of dark red ray bans that were perfect. I know that dark red doesn’t go with everything so I’m now on the search for a second, inexpensive pair for the days I’m not into mismatching. which isn’t too many days)

5 – Nerd Art Print by Little Atae

6 – Dodecahedron Mobile by submicrocosm (my new love of paper and my old love of anything geometric all in one!) /// 7 – Paper Unicorn by Paperwolf (how awesome is this?!?! They also make other animals and they are all just as gorgeous!)

6 – Specs Shelf by Okulo (I NEED one of these, I have accidentally accumulated glasses. For the first time in my life actually. I guess there are just so many cute glasses out there now! It’s a serger with a coverstitch option!!! Since I finally bought a new sewing machine, this is the next thing I’m saving up for.)

6 – LAPPLJUNG RUTA Rug by IKEA (I keep seeing the square version of this all over the internets, and even though it’s everywhere I still wanted it for my morning room. Well I went to go get the photo for the square one when I saw the rectangle one completely in beige and black! I squealed and called my husband!! It’s even more perfect and fits the space way better!! IT WILL BE MINE! SOON!) /// 7 - STRANDMON Wing Chair by IKEA (We need more seating in our living room for upcoming holidays and parties. This chair is perfect b/c it accommodates my tall husband AND fits our current decor)

8 - Seize the Daytime Party Dress by Dear Creatures on Modcloth /// 9 – Foxtail & Fern Dress also found on Modcloth (these lovelies have been hanging in my shopping cart for awhile. It’s been hard justifying dress purchases when I can just make one for half the price!)

10 & 11 – Anything from the Two String Jane Shop! (I love the simple, yet bold, designs and all the comfy shapes! I especially want the above two, they would fit perfectly into my wardrobe. Which apparently will have a lot of navy and rust if I keep finding pieces like the four above!! Not normally my “goto colors”)

The best part about this list is I actually plan on purchasing each piece for myself eventually. I’ve been working really hard lately and almost every penny has gone back into the business. I am going to start budgeting better so I can buy myself something nice every so often, and this will be my shopping list!!

I’m still on the gluten once a day deal, so I’m still tired and have had a lot of time to browse the Internets and basically window shop!

I’m getting closer to the date when I can stop eating gluten again (April 10th to be exact), so I’m hoping to show more projects and less window shopping afterwards!!

This latest form of obsession started a few weeks back while I was browsing the Internets, when I came across Target’s new designer collaboration with Prabal Gurung, and this dress…

I wanted it right away! It was the perfect color, perfect shape and even had a geometric twist to it. So I waited until my husband came home (and for friends to head out, since we had company that day) to take me to Target. I didn’t have high hopes it would fit, no dress every fits me right. My shoulders are petite, my torso is long and my legs are short. Never a good combo when it comes to dresses… or so I thought! I was totally proved wrong when I tried this thing on, it fit perfectly and actually flattered my body, which NEVER happens with cute clothes! I was sold, not just on this dress, but ALL fit and flare style dresses!! ALL OF THEM! (I even picked up this cute black dress that same night and have worn it multiple times)

Now I have this constant need to find dresses comparable, both in style and in cut. I never want to wear jeans again, I ONLY want to wear dresses, cute dresses! Lucky for me, these things are big now and you can pretty much find them anywhere.

It was actually really hard to pick out just 13 items, I found so many awesome pieces. Good thing I don’t have a credit card!**

**If I did have a credit card, I would use it wisely and not buy every single shiny thing I saw on the internet. I don’t want you guys getting the wrong idea about me! Ha!

I blame all the awesome fashion blogs out there, or maybe the fact that I have a little girl who dresses super cute, but all of a sudden I want cute girly clothes. Dresses, skirts, tights, fancy coats and pretty shoes. I’m a stay at home mom, who doesn’t party or go out, so it’s really hard to justify such purchases. I always have to justify a purchase, otherwise I feel super guilty afterwards.

I am linked to ModCloth daily, usually from a blog, instagram photo or email. I spend way too much time on there looking at all their adorable clothes, and to top it off, they add loads more each day. They have everything I’ve been looking for and more. So if I had unlimited funds, or a very large ModCloth gift card, I’d buy…

5 – Every Gilded Moment Dress /// 6 - Pretty in Prague Dress /// 7 - Coach Tour Dress in Noir (I really seem to be drawn to black dresses. Every time I try on a colorful pattern or solid colored dress I just don’t feel like myself. Apparently I have a little bit of a goth side. I’m seriously tempted to buy the Coach Tour dress, it looks like a good “starter dress”)

10 – Been There London That Skirt (how cute is this skirt?!? It reminds me of Disney)  /// 11 – Put Down Routes Boot (I like the height of these boots, the buckles and the fact that there is hardly any heel. I’m not a heels type of girl. These may be my perfect boots)

This list is a just a wish list, the only thing in my budget is that Coach Tour Dress. I really do like it. Do any of you readers have one? does it flare out a bit? or is it straight down? I’m short and chubby, I’d prefer a flared out skirt.

Oh and something neat, ModCloth is having a huge holiday sale right now! It’s their ‘Tis The Season sale. Starting Today and ending Sunday evening, 100 plus NEW ITEMS are 50% off. I missed out on their last sale, and I still see blog posts about how amazing it was. I Could buy one of those Coach Tour Dresses I like, looks like a few colors are on sale!! And I said I wouldn’t get all worked about holiday sales…

Edit: I ended up purchasing the Coach Tour Dress in Violet!!

I’m new to this type of internet shopping. Are there any other shopping websites you think I’d like? With styles similar to what I picked out above?

Saturday was Crafty Bastards. It is an Arts and Crafts Fair held in Washington DC. It’s pretty close to home and is almost always super busy, which is why I love the show so much.

Normally my husband or sister would help me at the show, but this year that just wasn’t in the cards. Instead, luckily, my friend Molly was able to help me! No offense to my husband or sister, but Molly was the absolute best helper I’ve ever had! Thank you! It made the show a bit calmer for me to have her there. Though the start of the show was of course hectic. I’m apparently not that great at giving directions (especially when im distracted by talking), so we missed a few exits and arrived late for set up. By the time we were done getting ready, shoppers were walking around, so the only picture I was able to get of my booth was the above one (it was my view of the booth all day). There were so many people I just couldn’t get a picture in any other direction. I need to get better with documenting things again. The show was great. It was in a new location, so I was a bit worried at first, but once the aisles filled up I felt fine. I sold a bunch of my new pieces, and I was able to see which pieces people liked more than others. That’s always useful. I was also able to see a bunch of old friends from the area and from other shows.

I was so tired from the week leading up to the show that I didn’t get up and shop as much as I usually do. I only gave myself the last 20 minutes to shop, so I was pretty much speed shopping! Ha. I did get a few neat things…

Above you can see the few items I got…

- The set of prints are by Berkley Illustration. They have loads of prints and it was really hard narrowing it down to two. If I had had more time I may have even purchased more. I just thought the Cowboy T-Rex print would complement are eclectic style the best , and the Hedgehog print is actually for someone else.

- The light aqua colored coyote skull is by Skullery. It’s actually a hand cast plastic replica. I talked to the artist for a minute or two, and found out that it is made out of the same material as my jewelry. How cool is that?!? I love odd things like this, but I only like replicas or faux versions. I just can’t bring myself to bring a real skull in the house, so these are perfect! I want more!!

- The large plush mushroom is by My Paper Crane. Heidi’s booth was actually right next to mine, and I saw this mushroom the second we started setting up. I love pretty much all the stuff she makes, but I am always drawn to the larger pieces. Larger pieces can be displayed on couches or on the ground. Perfect for someone running out of shelf space, like me. This particular piece is on the couch since CT thinks it’s hers. I tried to buy her something at the show, but they were sold out of her size, so since she’s careful with things I let her have the mushroom… for now.

This was the smallest, and quickest, shopping spree I’ve ever done at a show. I did collect a bunch of business cards from booths I really liked. So I may still get a few more items.

Crafty Bastards really was great this year, I really enjoyed it and I hope to do it again next year!!

Oh and Sunday I started holiday shopping, with a quick stop at an antique mall. It wasn’t AS exciting as Saturday, but I did find some neat things. I’ll share them tomorrow!
