Giveaways: Part Two

I’m finally ready to announce our second giveaway… the JEWELRY giveaway!

I’m really excited about all the new pieces I’ve been working on. So why not have a giveaway including one of them? This will also gear me up for the release of four new designs next week… I’ll announce them the same time I announce a winner.

So now onto the prize…

We are giving away One Custom Fragmented Necklace!!

I will hand cast any color combo, in any of the available shapes, the winner chooses. It can be simple, or crazy. Neon colors, earth toned colors or nice and neutral colors! It’s all the winners choice.

Now for the technical talk, again:

There are two ways to enter this giveaway! The first way is to comment on this here post telling me your favorite color combos, not just combos we’ve used, but your absolute favorite! (my favorite is Gray and Teal!). The second way to enter is to mention this giveaway somewhere else, just post a comment with the link!

Make sure they are two separate comments! That way you get counted twice!!

This giveaway will run for a little less than SEVEN days, to give everyone a chance. So you have until Saturday, April 21st to enter. I’ll choose a winner by random on Sunday and notify thm right away!

After the winner chooses a color, it may take up to two weeks to cast the piece and have it shipped out.

Good Luck Everyone!

I have been dying to try my hand at baking French Macarons! I viewed them as the perfect hostess gift. Something special I could bring to get togethers.

I was about to start my adventure using a book, that I will not name, when I was very kindly sent a recipe instead! The very nice Alison Garnett, who saw my post on Instagram, knew the recipe I was about to try didn’t work too well. The recipe she sent was by the Brave Tart and can be found here!!! It’s very easy to read and awesome!

They didn’t come out 100% perfect, but their close enough that I’ll continue trying. They had the little feet, they didn’t crack, were glossy on top, they were light, airy, and just plain awesome to eat.

I had a slight mishap with the piping bag. I’m not too coordinated, and I lost a huge chunk of the batter. So I didn’t make a full batch of the cookie side. I only had about eight sets that came out, so instead of making an entire batch of buttercream, I just filled them with Biscoff Spread! It ended up tasting great.

Ha, I go all out fancy and just fill them with Biscoff Spread!! Yeah, my husband says it was “very me”.

I can’t wait to try more flavors! Be on the lookout for my experiments.
Oh and if you ever invite me to a get together, I may just bring some of these.

Hmmm. Maybe this will entice more people to send me invites…

Giveaways: Part One

I took some time off after the Fab sale. I needed some time away from making. I watched a little Doctor Who, made some baked goods, and did a bunch of thrifting.

One for my Blythe Fans and one for my Jewelry Fans.

Let’s start it all off with a Blythe giveaway ( the jewelry one will be later in the week )…

I know some of my Blythe fans aren’t sewers, so I split todays giveaway into two. So technically I’m having THREE giveaways this week!

As for us, were finally winding down here too, which is an amazing feeling.
Though, in normal fashion, we’re ending it with a bang… The Flu!! CT and I haven’t been feeling our best lately and CT finally showed real symptoms two days ago. She never really gets super sick, so she’s not handling this well.
