Shop Update: Simple Shapes & Pretty Colors

Necklaces, earrings, hair pins and more! I have a few other designs waiting to be cast and assembled, so keep an eye out for more in the coming week!!

Sneak Peek: Triangles, Triangles, Triangles!

double_triangle_necklace_goldroyalblue_001 double_triangle_necklace_goldroyalblue_002 double_triangle_necklace_whitesgoldslivers_001I spent most of yesterday assembling necklaces, taking pictures, editing pictures, writing product descriptions and of course taking caring of a very curious toddler (“momma, what is a backdrop again?”) I am happy with about 50% of the photos I took, so today will most likely be spent taking more photos and then editing them.

The 50% I did like, I REALLY liked! So much so that I felt the need to share three of them! I also really wanted to share these new necklaces I made. I designed them for myself, for my picky taste. I figured there may be others out there who like the same exact style as me, so I made a handful for the shop too. My plan is to have them up and ready by Friday, but my luck is horrible these days…

Adventures in Casting: Piles of Arrows

arrows_001I have been working super hard lately on new designs and tweaking older designs. I have a craft fair coming up in September, plus I want to be prepared for the holiday season.

I am super happy with the colorways this time around and how clean my molds came out. It was actually the best batch I’ve EVER done! I hardly had to clean edges or sand down spills. Seriously PERFECT! I’m so thankful for this too, since a lot of my newest designs require things to fit together and be the same thickness. I’m not prepared to share those just yet though. I kinda want to share them as finished pieces.

For now though I can share my newly re-designed arrow necklaces!! They are much smoother, shinier and slightly thicker. The super smooth mold made it so I could do clear and semi opaque colorways, and even mixed pieces!! I can’t wait to add these to the shop!

Keep an eye out for all my other new pieces. I’ll be adding them to my Etsy shop in batches throughout the month!

If I Had Unlimited Funds: August 1st

I have pretty much only had fabric and sewing machines on my mind lately, so I haven’t really done a lot of internet window shopping. A lot being the magic word, I have done a little!!

So If I had unlimited funds (after I buy a new sewing machine) then I would totally buy…

I now have two pairs myself, but of course I want more. These new ones are just too neat!!)

My ears use to be stretched and ever since having CT I’ve let them shrink. Well now its hard to get any earrings that aren’t plugs to stay in properly. I think a design like this would work just right!)

I Love Society 6!

I was super curious to see what my new repeat patterns would look like on pillows, so I tried them out over on Society6. It’s a neat website that allows artist to upload work and have numerous items made from it. You could have a painting on an iphone case, or a photo on a pillow, and even just a nice plain print made of an illustration! I love it.

I tried out a bunch of my designs on all of their available products, and a few I really liked and wanted to share…

OH and I had a question… Has anyone ever had an iPhone case made by Society6? I’d love to know you like it!
